Clearing clutter saves time and
money. When you can easily
find what you are looking for, it not only saves time, it also saves
money, because you don’t have to buy another one. Not only that, but
according to the National Dish and Soap Association, getting rid of
clutter reduces housework by 40%! Now that’s what I call inspiring!
About 80% of clutter is caused by
disorganization. When there isn’t a specific place to put things,
they tend to pile up. When company comes, all those things get
thrown into a spare room or into a closet. And sometimes they never
come out again. Rather the pattern keeps repeating: Piles of stuff
accumulate, and then get thrown into the spare room or closet, until
they overflow throughout the whole house if the pattern isn’t
changed. It’s important to create systems that lead to habits that
become a daily routine, in order to stay on top of the piles of
paper, and clutter.

purging. It’s a process that includes retraining: Replacing old
habits with new ones that will keep your home clutter-free.
